Alibaba implemented a blockcheck to track shipments on the Koala import platform

Chinese e-commerce giant Alibaba has announced that its Koala importer platform has a siege-based delivery tracking feature.

According to the local edition of Sina Finance, the integration of the Ant Finance Blockchain on the Koala platform will allow buyers to learn detailed logistics information about the purchased goods. To do this, you only need to scan a QR code using the Alipay application.

The Koala application itself has also been updated - now, after placing an order, a button for product tracking will appear in it. When you click on it, a QR code and a certain "order print" used to fight counterfeits will be displayed.

The Koala platform plans to expand the use of the technology - soon it will be possible to track goods sent by foreign postal services at the block-office. This feature will be available to customers from 62 countries and regions. However, the blockchain will not include logistics information for all products, but only 7,432 brands.

It should be noted that the Koala platform was purchased by Alibaba at the end of last year for $2 billion. According to Alibaba representatives, the use of blockchecks will help solve traditional logistics problems, such as tracking, inconsistencies in goods and orders, as well as the difficulty of determining responsibility in the supply chain.

Ant Financial is a division of giant Alibaba and has been developing block-platforms for some time. Last year it was reported that Ant Financial is testing a blockage system designed to support small and medium businesses.
