Tezos and Cosmos became the most popular projects in Japan

A new study by Crypto Network Asia has shown that Tezos and Cosmos cryptographic projects have become the most popular in Japan. Nem and Lisk projects are also frequently mentioned in local cryptographic media.

Interestingly, Tezos and Cosmos are not represented on Japanese crypt exchanges, while Nem crypt is traded on three local exchanges. As you might expect, absolutely all exchanges have the opportunity to trade BTC, ETH and XRP. Also popular are BCH and LTC coins. To trade other popular crypt currencies, Japanese citizens need to choose a certain market.

Researchers have also interviewed Japanese traders. As it turned out, most of them trade bitcoin every month and only a quarter of respondents do it every week. As for altokoyna trading, the vast majority of traders turn to such coins at least once a month. Japanese traders have a positive outlook on the future of cryptovoltaics, but the majority of respondents said they expect the bitcoin to fall to $3 500 rather than rise to $7 500.

At the moment Japan takes the 4th place by the volume of Bitcoin trading for the national currency. About 8.8% of all transactions with fiat currencies take place in the country. The first place with the result of 43.8% is occupied by China, however traders use USDT stealthcoin to exchange for bitcoins. The second place is occupied by the USA, and the third - by South Korea.

Recently it was reported that Japan Financial Services Agency (FSA) launched Blockchain Governance Initiative Network (BGIN), which will promote "sustainable development of the Blockchain industry" in the country.
