One of the world's largest car manufacturers, Toyota Motor Corporation, announced the launch of its own laboratory for the study of blockage, which has been in operation since April last year.
For 11 months now, Toyota Blockchain Lab workers have been researching blockchain capabilities and applications in the automotive industry. It is now planned to more actively integrate the Blockchain into Toyota business processes and use it to expand strategic partnerships beyond the group.
Toyota Blockchain Lab plans to develop a blockchain platform with which users will be able to share data and use services of different companies more openly, but also safely.
One of the main applications of the blockchain researchers named identification of customers and vehicles, as well as supply chain monitoring. In addition, the technology can be used to digitize assets in order to provide more ways of financing.
The company representatives also stressed that in the future they hope to continue developing and implementing block initiatives. It is also possible to integrate existing block-platforms.
Recall that in 2018, Toyota reported on the use of blockades in the advertising industry to reduce fraud in the purchase of ads.
