YouTube continues to fight against cryptographic content on its platform. This time popular analyst Tone Vays has got under distribution.
On Twitter, in a comment to a post where he posted a video analysing the cryptographic market a few hours ago, Weiss wrote that YouTube had deleted the video because it contained "potentially unacceptable content".
Shortly after, however, Weiss reported that his entire channel, with nearly 100,000 subscribers, was already completely blocked.
"So, the situation is developing very rapidly and the removal of the video was followed by the blocking of the entire channel. It seems that the YouTube team did not do any analysis of the situation, as the channel was blocked an hour after the warning and 30 minutes after my complaint. If the situation cannot be resolved, then I may have to change my field of activity. In the daytime I will be trading cryptocurrencies, and in the evening I will be video-blogging about food".
YouTube began blocking content on crypt-currency channels in December last year. Later, representatives of the service said that the video was deleted by mistake. At the end of February this year the situation with the removal of video from crypt-currency channels was repeated.
Unfortunately, this is becoming a serious threat for everyone who is involved in content creation and uses YouTube as the main platform for its monetization. That is why the participants of the crypt-currency community are seriously discussing the idea of creating a decentralized platform for sharing content, where no one will have sole control over the published material.
