Digital Asset Manager Grayscale Investments has launched an advertising campaign in the U.S. to promote investments in bitcoin, Ethereum and other cryptov currencies through its products.
Michael Sonnenschein, Managing Director of Grayscale, shared a 30-second video on his Twitter account, which tells about the development of money over the past few thousand years, from shells and metals to Fiat and, finally, "digital currency". The final part of the video contains a list of Grayscale trusts, which includes Bitcoin Cash, Ethereum Classic, Horizen, Litecoin, Stellar, XRP and Zcash, in addition to the two cryptographic currencies mentioned above.

In the previous campaign of a similar plan, launched by Grayscale in May 2019, investors were urged to give up gold in favor of Bitcoin. A spokesman for the firm explained to TheBlock that the new advertising "focuses on digital currencies and the Grayscale brand, rather than on any single digital currency, such as Bitcoin.
The new commercial has already been released on CNBC and will soon be shown by MSNBC, FOX and FOX Business, said Grayscale CEO Barry Silbert.
According to the latest reports, as of August 7, under the management of Grayscale, assets were concentrated at $5.6 billion, of which $4.7 billion were placed in the bitcoin trust GBTC, $738 million - in Ethereum trust ETHE. The assets value of the other trusts is less than $100 mln.
