Another private company, Shenzhen Techo Telecom, has announced its work with the Chinese central bank on a pilot project with digital yuan.
It seems that a telecom service provider called Shenzhen Techo Telecom doesn't want to disclose details of its participation in the test, limiting itself to "DCEP verification and related promotion with a commercial bank".
Last year, the company announced a partnership with mobile device maker Huawei, with both organizations agreeing to create a range of security solutions for financial technologies and cloud computing.
Now Shenzhen Techo Telecom has joined the digital currency project of the central bank, which continues to actively move forward. Earlier this week, China Construction Bank (CCB), one of the country's largest banks, briefly launched an electronic wallet for digital yuan payments.
In addition, two weeks ago, China's state-owned banks filed a series of blockcheck patents, and Beijing changed its expansion plan for the digital yuan.
